Our programme will feature a discussion and demonstration of printing methods used on clay by artist Alexx Boisjoli, who operates a small design studio in Toronto.

An artist from a young age, Alexx graduated from OCAD in Toronto.

In his studio, called rcboisjoli, dynamic and modern wares are created by hand, using techniques for making everything from plaster models for ceramic objects to silk- screened decals to hand-printed textiles.

At the January meeting in the Burlington Pottery Studio, learn everything you wanted to know about printing on clay. Alexx will demonstrate printing techniques for ceramics using silkscreens, underglazes, jelly plates, plaster printing, and bisque transfer techniques.
