Our own Karla Rivera will present an artist's talk and demonstration of her technique.
About Karla
Karla Rivera is a ceramic artist born and raised in Mexico City who has made her home in Hamilton, ON. In 2021 she graduated with a Bachelor degree of Craft and Design in Ceramics from Sheridan College.
Her work consists of functional and sculptural ceramics. Through composition, using varying materials, her intention is to “build a bridge between beliefs, thoughts and experiences”. She is interested in working with forms that can serve more than one purpose.
